The present edition depicts with texts, photos and sketches the process of directing Oedipus Rex, the performance that the internationally acclaimed director Theodoros Terzopoulos presented at the historical Alexandrinsky Theatre on September 2006, with Russian actors. The performance inaugurated the fully renovated Alexandrinsky Theatre and the International Alexandrinsky Festival. Oedipus Rex remained at the repertoire of Alexandinsky theatre from September 2006 till December 2010.
