The performance Ajax the madness, directed by Theodoros Terzopoulos, was a great hit in Philadelphia, where it was presented on Sept. 5, 6 and 7, within the frames of FringeArts Festival. The american reviews praised the greek performance, while they pointed out its relevance with the recent wars. Broad Street Review writes «Ajax, the madness is a challenging theater experience. It's a visual, visceral, experimental study of the madness of war [...] Terzopoulos and his brave cast are provoking us to a place beyond  revulsion and horror, [...] "beyond sorrow" , where we can see the parallels between ancient atrocities and modern ones» ( The audience reserved the same enthusiasm for the performance, while they applaused the artists and they participated warmly in the post-show discussions. Within the frames of the festival Theodoros Terzopoulos also led a workshop addressed to professional actors and actresses of Philadelphia.
