On August 2007, a while before his early death, Jannis Kontraphouris wrote in the hospital the play Iocasta. λίγο πριν τον πρόωρο θάνατό του, ολοκλήρωσε στο νοσοκομείο την Ιοκάστη. His wish was to be directed by Therodoros Terzopoulos. Attis Theatre with this performance honours the memory of the significannt Greek writer.
"The play Iocasta by Jannis Kontraphouris belongs to the tadition of many contemporary plays, that go back to the ancient greek myths to deal with heroic figures in a profound an inevitably anti-heroic era. With fragments of words and remains of memories, Iocasta construcs her own final nightmare and disturbs the order of a society based upon monstrous crimes".
